Peak Financing CEO, Anton W. Mattli, has decades of experience in commercial and investment banking, private equity, and commercial real estate. After graduating from Zurich Business School in banking and finance, he held senior management positions at major financial institutions in New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Zurich. During that time, Anton was heading a bank branch, managed cross-border teams, financed and restructured commercial real estate worth several billion U.S. Dollars, and oversaw loan portfolios consisting of aircraft and ocean transport vessels. Anton also directed the structuring of complex cross-border commodity and trade finance transactions for Fortune 500 companies.

Over the last 15 years, Anton has been advising family offices, high net worth individuals, as well as private investment funds, facilitating their direct investments in commercial real estate across Europe and the United States, including several hundred million dollars in multifamily developments and acquisitions.

Outside the office, Anton enjoys spending time with his family and is involved in various community-based organizations. When not helping one of his clients with a multifamily financing, you will find him hunting down the best powder for skiing in the Rockies. Anton is fluent in English and German.

John Martinez comes to Peak Financing to leverage his expertise in multifamily finance and capital markets for investors. Most recently, Mr. Martinez worked directly with multifamily investors as a commercial mortgage broker to identify the appropriate capital solutions for their finance needs. Before working with investors directly, Mr. Martinez began his career in commercial real estate while working as a Multifamily Production Manager for Freddie Mac’s Small Balance Loan program. While at Freddie Mac, Mr. Martinez worked to help launch the Small Balance Loan program in the South Central region of the country, which included Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and New Mexico. During his tenure at Freddie Mac, the South Central region experienced a $1 billion of loan production during his tenure.

 

John Martinez’s career has been rooted in the capital markets beginning as buy-side equity analyst for a family of mutual funds. Mr. Martinez then worked for several mid-tier and boutique investment banks providing research coverage for community banks, underwriting and issuing community bank capital, advising institutional clients on investments in both public equities, as well as managing institutional investments in distressed structured products.
 
Mr. Martinez attended Franklin & Marshall College, where he received his B.A. with a concentration in Finance and Accounting. Outside the office, Mr. Martinez spends his time with his wife and son. He also enjoys running, cycling and fishing.

Abel Pacheco is a Principal and General Partner in 500+ doors of commercial multifamily real estate. He and his wife are also Limited Partners/Passive Investors in another 465 doors. For 12 years, he invested in, owned, and operated a profitable real estate portfolio. During the same time period, as a Senior IT/Tech Sales leader, he led a verifiable 10x acquisition track record ($5.6MM in 2010 to $57.5MM in 2015). 

He obtained his B.B.A. in General Business from the University of Texas at San Antonio and now works full-time in Commercial Real Estate. He brings 20+ years of professional & entrepreneurial experience. He also raised millions of dollars for his multifamily syndications, is a multifamily podcast host, and serves multifamily investors with financing. He and his wife live in San Antonio, TX. along with their 2.5-year-old girl, and 1-year-old baby boy.
